This enchanting ink is inspired by I Am a Cat (Wagahai wa Neko de aru), the classic satirical novel by Japanese author Natsume Sōseki. Just like the feline narrator observing the follies of humankind, this ink brings a unique, contemplative character to the page.

• Base Color: A medium cool grey, subtle and refined, reflecting the observational detachment of the novel’s feline protagonist.

• Shimmer Effect: Delicate gold particles shimmer on the surface as the ink dries, evoking the glint of a cat’s curious gaze or a ray of light flickering across its fur.

• Drying Time: Moderate. Approx. 60 seconds on Rhodia paper with a medium nib. Best results with non-absorbent, smooth paper.

• Flow Characteristics: Medium flow; smooth and well-behaved in most fountain pens, but shimmer requires regular maintenance.
