The body is crafted in fine marbled celluloid in tan and black tones, with the distinctive veining that makes every single example truly one of a kind. The two-tone steel nib — medium point — writes smoothly and pleasurably: the pen has been tested and verified in full working order. The piston filling system is solid and functions perfectly.

In the interest of full transparency, there is a small area of worn gold plating on the clip — barely noticeable in everyday use and in no way affecting the pen's performance.
