Made of solid sterling silver, this fabulously crafted pen features a classic cigar-shaped silhouette.

The object itself is a true work of art, thanks in particular to the perfection of its polish and the extreme finesse of the motifs engraved on the barrel and cap.
To carry out this meticulous work, the craftsman begins by drawing the pattern on the body and cap with masking ink, then exposes them to an etching liquid to make the design penetrate.
The fluid eats away at the unprotected areas and forms the pattern. Both elements are then exposed to a sulphurizing liquid, heated and polished until the surface of the solid silver stands out brilliantly.

The dragon, a mythical creature, is described in East Asian tradition as having the body of a snake, the scales of a carp, the legs of a tiger, the claws of an eagle, the head of a camel, the horns of a deer, the eyes of a hare, and the ears of a bull.

The pen features an integrated nib in rhodium-plated 18-carat gold, available in F, M and B widths.
The ink flow is smooth and consistent, and the subtle variation in line width under pressure confirms the exceptional quality of the pen.
As it is crafted from solid sterling silver, it will tend to dull slightly over time, but a simple cotton cloth is all it takes to restore its original brilliance.
