Fans of the LAMY AL-star appreciate its exceptional lightness, achieved through the use of aluminium—robust, durable, and comfortable for long writing sessions.
For 2026, LAMY has gone a step further: in addition to the vibrant colours we’ve come to expect, the brand has also reimagined the classic transparent smoked grip section.
For the Pine and Flamingo editions, the grip now matches the colour of the barrel and cap, creating a refined tone‑on‑tone effect while maintaining the transparent window that reveals the feed.

The most recognisable feature of the AL-star remains the iconic U‑shaped clip, a hallmark of LAMY design.
