The Elixir ink collections is available in 3 amazing colors: Violet De Cobalt, Azure and Pourpre.

Elixir Colorist Collection, violet, Ink Bottle 50 ml:
It is one of the most ancient colours used by human beings. Hand paintings on rock walls and caves may date back 50,000 years. In the Renaissance, the violet retained its status as the colour of the emperors and princes of the church throughout the Byzantine Empire. The permanent colour was derived by natural pigments mixed with amethyst mineral. The precious natural ink recipe contains Gardenia Blue extract, a specific concentration of the flower.

Elixir Colorist Collection, Azure, Ink Bottle 50 ml:
This ancient colour dates back to 300 BC from the first blue pigment, azurite, of Cyprus copper mines. Soon thereafter, Egyptians quickly spread it throughout the ancient world. During the middle ages, the Azur colour was also extracted from the precious lapis lazuli stone to be used in medieval guilds by nobles and kings and in paintings during the Italian renaissance. The precious ink recipe embraces the intensity of Gardenia Blue extracts and of safflower petals.

Elixir Colorist Collection, pourpre, Ink Bottle 50 ml:
This ancient colour dates back 1400 BC from the coast of Ancient Phoenicia. Purpura or Tyrian purple dyes were extracted from a rare sea snail. It quickly became the colour of kings, nobles, priests and magistrates in heralds, home decoration and clothing all around the Mediterranean. It is cited in the Iliad and Odyssey of Homer, Aeneid of Virgil, and in the Old testament. The precious natural ink recipe encompasses the pure extract of cochineal and carmine from South America.
