In 1996, Delta decided to create a collection destined to become iconic: the Colosseum Limited Edition.

At that time, as co-founder and creative mind behind Delta, I conceived a detail that would make that fountain pen truly unique: a decorative solid silver ring engraved around the cap.
“I was inspired by ivy, a symbol of eternal connection and continuous growth, and translated it into a series of stylized leaves, precisely and harmoniously arranged, repeated also on the clip.”

The Ivy Ring immediately became the signature element of one of Delta’s most sought-after collections.

These are unique fountain pens, entirely handmade from solid bar ebonite, enriched with precious details from one of the most fascinating limited editions in Delta’s history:
a ring at the base of the cap, made of solid 925 sterling silver, and a clip — signature elements of Delta’s Colosseum, the inspirational mother of the iconic Dolce Vita collection.

• Fountain pen entirely crafted from special ebonite, hand-turned from solid bar.

• Metal parts plated in precious palladium.
