SCRIBO FEEL Nova Stella is born from the desire to discover what we do not yet know. A new interpretation of the FEEL collection, inspired by Ulysses' final voyage as narrated by Dante in Canto XXVI of the Inferno, when Ulysses passes beyond the Pillars of Hercules and ventures beyond the boundaries of the known world.
During his journey, the sky changes. The stars of the northern hemisphere disappear below the horizon, giving way to those of the opposite pole, stars never seen before by navigators.
This image of an unknown sky, together with the desire to explore new horizons, inspires the name Nova Stella.
The connection with Dante's poem is also reflected in the number 133. In Canto XXVI of the Inferno, at verse 133, Ulysses describes the appearance of an unknown mountain sighted after months of navigation.
SCRIBO has transformed this literary reference into a distinctive feature of the fountain pen: FEEL Nova Stella is produced in two different finishes, each limited to only 133 numbered pieces, for a total production of 266 fountain pens.
The SCRIBO FEEL Nova Stella features a distinctive dodecagonal shape and a refined cosmic brown finish, available with either rose gold or platinum trim.
The cap, grip section and barrel are handcrafted from resin.
The fountain pen is equipped with an exclusive SCRIBO nib, available in 18-karat gold or 14-karat flexible gold.
The 18-karat gold nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad. Upon request and at an additional cost, EEF, BB and Stub nibs are also available.
The 14-karat Flexible gold nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine and Medium.
The filling system features a 6.50 mm two-channel ebonite feed, while the ink capacity is 1.42 ml.
Each SCRIBO FEEL Nova Stella comes with a collector's case made of natural leather and cotton.
The limited-edition number and year of production are pantograph engraved on the grip section.
