Among the regular visitors to the shop are also Dante Del Vecchio and Luigi Poli, the founders of Visconti. After interminable discussion with Vittorio and Patrizia ( the owners of Casa della Stilografica ) they reached the decision to create the Visconti Florentia and bring the fountain pen back to its former splendour.

So, in 1994, Visconti has created this exceptional fountain pen to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the historical shop "Casa della Stilografica".

365 pens have been produced in a limited edition, according to a specially created model and using the most up-to-date technology and severals Visconti patents: pressure clip, 14 kt. gold nib, gilded all over and engraved with the florentine lily, vacuum loading called Power Filler with the capacity of over six Pelikan standard cartridges.
