OPERA ELEMENTS
Five years after the presentation of the Squaring the Circle collection Visconti completely restyles its Opera Collection according to its colours, technique and style, outlining a strong connection with the esoteric and naturalistic tradition: The Four Elements.
At origin the word “Opera” means “product of human mind” – from both an intellectual and a material point of view – for this reason OPERA ELEMENTS means that human activities have to be in harmony with nature and the elements surrounding our existence.
The recall to nature is not a casualty: global warming, green house effect, water and hydrology problems are all very crucial and actual themes and Visconti interprets their message with a line that reminds us of our habitat.
This collection comes in four colours: Yellow for Air, Red for Fire, Blue for Water and Black for Earth. The four elements appear quite evidently, indeed we have also White, a colour common to all four pens and which also brings its own significance: it’s the Fifth Element, the Aether, the Transcendence.
The locations chosen for the presentation of OPERA ELEMENTS are all prestigious and consequently selected according to the collection philosophy: OPERA ELEMENTS has also received the UNESCO approval and authorisation and will be the official pen of two great UNESCO world events:
